We meet a need within our Community.
Our Mission is to raise the High School graduation rate in the state of Iowa. Each year, about 5,000 Iowa High School Students do not graduate and we understand that there are many contributing factors. These factors rarely include Students simply choosing not to graduate. Most Students experience academic struggles and/or have issues balancing their employment responsibilities with the expectations put upon them regarding their education. This negatively impacts their capacity to earn their High School Diploma. At Iowa Choice Charter School, we prioritize the well-being of our Students as they work towards completing their High School education. We know and believe that earning a High School Diploma can lead to brighter futures for ALL.
We are Fearlessly Future-Focused.
Through Iowa Choice Charter School, at-risk Students are provided with access through our process of future-focused planning. Our Curriculum is Accredited by the Iowa Department of Education for grades 9-12 and allows us to partner with Students, up to age 21, who are seeking their High School Diploma. We provide individualized guidance and create personalized Educational Plans for each Student as they work towards graduation. Additionally, we prepare Students for the future by offering College and University preparation alongside connections to Apprenticeship and Internship opportunities. Our focus is ensuring that Students have the tools and resources they need to reach their personal and professional goals during High School and beyond!

We are passionate about building up future generations. Iowa Choice Charter School stands in the gap for young people who need additional support, stability, safety and structure by reducing barriers affecting Students as it relates to their ability to attend and finish High School. We cater to Students from all backgrounds and understand that environmental and personal factors impact how they see themselves and their potential. Our focus on meeting the unique needs of Students while providing individualized guidance allows us create space for each and every one of our Students to flourish.
