Our principal, Charles Mausser, taught band and choir in High School and Middle School as a public Educator. For many years, he also taught private trombone, trumpet, and tuba lessons and played in the Cedar Rapids Municipal Band. 

His values are centered on ensuring students feel safe and valued through trauma-informed and equitable practices. In short, he works to create a school that focuses on the needs of Students.

Mr. Mausser believes empowerment is about seeing the human being in any person. This means investing in them to embrace, live, and love everything about what makes them who they are.
